I read that blogs should have a theme, that you should find something you are passionate about and stick to that. Yep, not gonna find that here. My passions change, a lot. Lately life has been moving VERY fast...I feel like if I blink I will miss it. I guess I just need an outlet and a keepsake for it all. So, I rest easy knowing my parents will probably be my only loyal readers, because at the end of the day, the point is really just to find the state of, well, me!
The State of Jen...
I married my high school sweetheart…sort of. We dated in high school, I got dumped in a note and then he “begged for me back” after college. If you ask him…it was the other way around • I’m a mom to the most amazing kids in the world. MDB, my son, is almost 5 and Ellie (as I lovingly call her) is 3. My third baby is my precious shitzu-poodle mix, Bailey • I’ve had the same job for 12 years…sort of. I’ve worked at Edelman for 12 years. Five years were spent doing consumer brands PR and now HR. Not many employers would go for that…did I mention my company is AWESOME? • I graduated from Syracuse University with a degree in Broadcast Journalism • I was born in Dallas, Texas. My parents claim we moved when I started speaking with a southern drawl • I’m a pretty anxious person. Having kids has brought out the worrier in me like nothing else. Everyday brings something new when it comes to the health and safety of my kids…it keeps me up at night • I HATE to exercise. People say, “I loved running the marathon” or “I need to work out to feel better”…I just don’t get it • I am over-the-top, need-to-seek-help OBSESSED with my days in summer camp.
